2017-2018 Start Dates:

  • Fall Sports - 1st practice / Tryouts - Aug. 14, 2017
  • Winter Sports - 1st practice / Tryouts - Nov. 10, 2017
  • Spring Sports - 1st practice / Tryouts - Feb. 26, 2018

The Athletic Participation Fee is $175 per sport.

Athletic Registration Procedure

The athletic packet consists of 5 forms (Athletic Checklist, Player Expectations and Code of Conduct, Participation Contract and 2 Emergency Forms) that must be read and completed prior to your son/daughter being eligible to participate as an athlete for Arvada High School.

Your contract/physical will stay in effect for one year.

Athletic fees are due along with the above paperwork. If your athlete is on free or reduced lunch your fee is waived. 

Athletes may not practice until ALL of the above paperwork is completed and turned into the athletic secretary AND the participation fee is paid.


At Arvada HS, athletes are not eligible to participate if they have more than one F. Weekly eligibility is checked every Wednesday. Any athletes with any failing grades have until Friday at 3:00 pm to raise their grades and turn in a Grade Change form to the Athletic Secretary. If the grade is not raised and the form completed by 3:00 on Friday, the athlete becomes ineligible for one week starting on Sunday.
